Vellano Estate by Wedgewood Weddings

Spanish architecture, tall cypress & a romantic California feeling.

Grace and Oscar’s wedding took place at Vellano Estate in Chino Hills — a venue that quickly became one of our favorites. With its Spanish-style architecture, tall cypress trees, warm stone details, and beautiful outdoor spaces, it has such a romantic California feeling.

Chapter I · The morning

Details, window light & a father’s first look.

We first met Grace and Oscar during their engagement session, and they loved the result so much that they trusted us with their wedding day as well — our first time working at Vellano Estate.

The morning started with details and flat-lay photos: rings, stationery, accessories, and all the thoughtful little pieces they prepared. We photographed Oscar near the window in soft natural light, and one of the most touching parts of the morning was Grace’s first look with her father.

Chapter II · The ceremony

Two languages & an honest reaction.

The ceremony was full of warmth, family, and energy. We photographed Oscar with his brothers, parents, the bridal party, and the sweetest flower girls. Then Grace appeared, and one of our favorite things to capture happened — the groom’s reaction.

When emotions are honest and not hidden, they fill the whole ceremony with meaning. Held in two languages, it felt even more personal and connected to both families. Grace and Oscar walked back down the aisle together and finished with a beautiful dip.

Chapter III · Portraits

Soft evening light by the villa facade.

At Vellano Estate the sun tends to disappear behind the hills fairly early, so after the ceremony we worked with softer evening light near the villa facade.

Grace and Oscar wanted more classic posed portraits, and the venue gave us a beautiful setting for that elegant, romantic look.

Chapter IV · The reception

A grand entrance & a joyful rhythm.

Before the reception we set up additional lighting to capture the evening properly. It started with a high-energy grand entrance — full of cheering, laughter, and excitement from family and friends.

That energy carried straight into the first dance, speeches, parent dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, money dance, and the open floor. Emotional, loud in the best way, full of traditions, and full of people who were truly celebrating Grace and Oscar.

Grace & Oscar

The kind of day where the energy kept building until the very end — family, tradition, and real celebration.
